Introducing Descarga Latina Productions
What started as a small Salsa dance troupe overtime evolved into a comprehensive latin dance production company. Descarga Latina is now a production company offering a complete entertainment package. Arrangements include any combination of singing, dancing, acting, and comedy. Elements of these were featured in an off-broadway musical comedy called Latin Madness. Particpating as director, choreographer, producer and project manager, Nelson has demonstrated an unique abilibity to wear many hats. He was assisted by co-founders and original members of Descarga Latina, Stracy Diaz, Maria Tirado, Maribel Maldonado, Steve Seda, and Al Zagami.
Nelson Flores serves as an official Judge for the World Salsa Competition sponsored by sports network giant ESPN in addition to occupying the role of event planner fo the NYNJ Salsa Festival consecutively in 2005, 2006, 2007
